Norton ES2 1950 For Sale - Genuine 1950 Norton ES2 500cc British Single in great condition. all numbers matching verification. This is the rare plunger model with "Roadholder" forks. The bike was restored 8 years ago. mechanically excellent and surprisingly comfortable. I rode it back from Cornwall 6 weeks ago and she didn't miss a beat. Runs on unleaded fuel as additive added to tank. Lots of history and mostly original and does show signs of age but in a good way.
For 1950, in common with other large-engined Nortons, the bike was further improved with the Slimline frame with upper frame rails narrowed and a restyled slimmer tank. 1950 Norton ES2 in original livery! Recent beautiful restoration. Excellent condition, starts and runs like new! Will satisfy the most fastidious owner! Be in quick! It remained popular due to its reliability and ease of maintenance, as well as the traditional design. From 1947 the ES2 had an innovative hydraulically damped telescopic front fork and race developed rear plunger suspension.
